BLK Frank is the alter ego of Brandon J. Lampkin.
A gentleman of questionable history and impeccable taste.
BLK Frank, otherwise known as Black Frank, is a gentleman of questionable history and impeccable taste. Around Las Vegas, they call him “the most shady Frankie baby.” He considers that an introduction, not an accusation.
Nobody agrees on where Frank came from. Chicago claims him. New York remembers him. Vegas keeps his suite ready. His first residency reportedly ended after six sold-out nights, a missing casino executive, and a standing ovation from the executive’s wife. Frank remembers only the applause.
With a velvet voice, a diamond cuff, and a tuxedo that costs more than most people’s first cars, Frank sings about beautiful women, expensive mistakes, and evenings that require a very discreet driver. The orchestra knows his cues. The maître d’ knows his table. The judge knows him socially.
Released through Starlight Supper Club Records, his music brings the grandeur of the supper club to stories best told after the doors are locked. Every song has a woman worth remembering, a bill worth avoiding, or a little trouble dressed for dinner.
